Cannot believe my local PF. I have only been a member for a month and a half.

One of the selling points for me was the option of keeping my toiletries in their lockers. I had to be out of town for 2 1/2 weeks. When I came back my towels, my hoodie, & my toiletries were gone. They stated they left notices which I never saw.

If I've been a member less than two months, then they knew that no overnight lockers would soon be a policy.

This is crooked, grimy salesmanship. I am cancelling immediately.

"One of the selling points for me was the option of keeping my toiletries in their lockers." How is that a selling point when that PF or any PF does not allow overnight use or perpetual, use of lockers? I'd like to know who told you you can do this.

Where was this info? Or did you just assume this?

No PF allows you to leave your belongings in a locker. All lockers are for day use (while you are in club) only.

I don't understand how that could have been a selling point since what you did is not offered.

You must empty your locker when you leave. As with my PF, we tape a notice to the locker, it's there for 7 days. When there is no response, the lock is cut and locker contents are collected and stored for 2 more weeks, after which, If not claimed, contents are given to charity. Unless there is identification, for if ID exists, we know whom to contact.

we call, tAlk to or leave a message. Then we will keep locker contents for 4 weeks.

There is a misunderstanding on your part and I don't get how that could happen.

Whose fault is it that you did not see the notices. Perhaps you should take mommy or daddy or some other adult along with you since you cannot read.

While I do understand that everyone makes mistakes an adult would admit that they are at fault since they failed to read the notices. Just because you do not know how to read does not mean they are crooked. You cannot just leave your stuff in the locker for weeks on end.

Blame yourself, if you are an adult than admit fault. Grow up.

This simple problem could have been avoided if you had mommy or daddy come to the gym with you. They could have read the notice for you since you appear not to know how to read.

You yourself said that you missed the notices, so whose fault it that.

Then fact that you blame them for your mistake, missing the notices shows that you are a child or an immature adult. You can cancel, but you won't be missed.

Maybe you should have brought an adult with you to the gym and had them read the notices since you appear to not know how to read. They had signs posted and you did not pay attention, hardly their fault. I agree that people make mistakes, but the fact that you blame them for not noticing the notices proves you are a young kid.
