They advertise that they are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week at the Maryville Tn. location.

They have a sign posted that they will be closed Saturday so that employees can enjoy the Easter weekend. I can understand being closed Sunday for Easter but Saturday also? Come on. Every other business is open on Saturday.

There is nothing to celebrate on Saturday. Next year they will want Halloween off.

It is fine for them to close anytime they want considering they charge by the month and will have no loss of income. There are some of us that work during the week and working out on Saturdays is very mportant to us.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Location: Maryville, Tennessee

Wow, I did call to see if they would be open today. They are so great if I decide I want to go in. But if they werenโ€™t open, I can take my *** outside and walk or run for one day so that people can be with their families.

What gets me angry is that not one of the planet fitness in my area are actually 24/7. Not one.

The closest they've come is the one that just opened a month ago that's 24/5. Every other one closes at 9 or 10 pm and opens at 5 or 7 am, every day and the weekends are actually worse. They close at 7pm on Saturdays.

Part of his argument is correct, you're paying for something that you're not actually getting. You sign up for 24/7 access, but we've never even gotten that

When you signed up, you signed the contract. The operation times are on the door.

My gym is closed from Tuesday till Monday....

Why do you want to workout Eater weekend anyway? You should want to be with your family, Iโ€™m pretty sure the employees would want to be with their families too, people have a life/family outside of work you know.

Have you ever stopped to consider that there are other religions and cultural views out there besides your own..... Not everyone celebrates Easter (I don't and I'm actually working overnight Saturday as well as Easter Sunday). You sound like a very ignorant person for it being 2018.

Right.... Employees have no importance.

That 1 day that you "have" to go and get your vain or in vain workout in? You are working because you don't celebrate..... They do.

Where is your consideration? It is 2018

You arenโ€™t respecting their religion by demanding they be open on Easter. Even if you donโ€™t celebrate this holidays there are others you do and you want to be with your family like they want to be with theirs donโ€™t go and getting all pissed because they people have a life outside if Work

Are you still with PF? You should come over to Workout Anytime. They are a true 24/7 gym.

And absolutely no one working in the facility. You will be completely alone.....

until that one weird person comes in and creeps the crap out of you. Or... You could go somewhere where the employees are there at ALL open times, keeping an eye out for any problems, and safety issues.

They are trained in CPR, and other emergency issues. So, be found the next morning at Anytime, or have an ambulance to you in 5 minutes and possibly save a life....?

I totally agree. Their customers and business are just like it is in retail.

You NEED to be open to provide that service, you (Planet Fitness) have sold. Planet Fitness needs to fulfill their end of the contract that they sold you on and not be able to change their hours of operation on a moments notice.

You NEED to read the contract. Times and hours are presented when the rates are.

Times are usually printed in big white letters on the doors as well. Observe some observance.

They said they were closing at 11:59 on Saturday before Easter. That literally means they were closed for one minute of Saturday. Have some respect for others

Guest

Really? Get over yourself!

Maybe some families would like together together for easter...

not every one lives five minutes away... pathetic.

They have every right to spend time with their families, their families love them. Just because your family does not want to spend time with you because of your attitude does not mean their families are the same.

Wow yep, degrading others really shows your character. Lol I think it's funny how the original poster didn't even mention anyone's family or bring up people's family members yet you think it's okay and justifiable to make such a crazy and hurtful assumption like their "family doesn't want to spend time with them." Think about how words affect people, maybe, idk, just a thought.

It also bothers me that 6 people agreed that saying a mean, hurtful, nasty thing like that was okay and didn't see a problem with it.... *sigh* yet here I remain seeing the best in people.

If they expect employees to be working on Easter they have a right to have comments like this. The OP has entitlement issues.

Happy Easter!

My PF always has adjusted hours for major holidays. I appreciate it that they value their employees this much.
