I belong to North Kingstown, RI PF. Equipment does not get maintained as it should.

I mentioned at least 5 months ago that 2 of the ellipticals have audio not working. Now, 5 months later, at least 4 don’t work. TV’s have large brown swipes/stains on a lot of them. Have been that way for at 2 years.

I asked for the heat to be lowered last week. This week, still too warm. Claim they can’t adjust the heat from there and it takes a while to come down. Can’t finish workout without feeling nauseous.

They’re comfortable standing behind the desk, though!

If there was a problem getting their $10 every month, I would bet that would be fixed within an hour. Just sayin!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I didn't like: Equipment not being fixed.

most of the time staff are freezing behind the counter and they have no access to change the thermostat, which includes the manager.

If the equipment is not maintained in a timely manner that is not always the manager who is responsible for that but the ownership group

the manager can only report it.

I understand your frustrations especially with the equipment being down. When it comes to the temperature that is usually set at a 66 to 68 degree level.

And that is for the comfort of all members.

Ownership group and/or building maintenance can only make temp changes if there are multiple complaints about the temperature. Otherwise that go with what the government recommends.
