My local gym closed without notice, yet they continue to charge me. I can't "cancel" my membership as it requires you go to your gym or send a letter via certified mail to your local gym.

Inquiries at corporate have gone ignored. They have now charged me for three months of membership at a gym that no longer exists. They never told their clients they were closing, just were gone one day. This is ridiculous.

When I send a note to corporate, I get an autoreply saying I have to go to my local gym to cancel my membership.

How do I go to a gym that does not exist? The people at this company are frauds.

I don't know what happened. PF corporate would completely back you in a case like this.

the Agreement has plenty of legal language about closings.

YOU AND ALL of their members are in the same boat being charged.

I don't see other complaints like yours, and if continuously charged, there would be no less than 5,000 complaints. WHERE ARE THEY?

Not true. YouFit (also ABC Financia just did this to me.

You have to go to another club to cancel.

At least that is what they want you to think. Check your lawyer.
