Planet Fitness - Over charge
Planet Fitness has been over charging me $10 more every month for the past three months. At first I just assumed it was the yearly membership fee they decided to take out over two months.
Then I noticed it again on the third month. I went to my bank to get a print out of all my charge's to prove to them what was happening and took it to my gym. I was told by the manager that I was being charged return fee's, which clearly was not the case because I had my bank statements in front of me. She then told me that they had the wrong account number and it was being returned so they just charged my debit card they had on file.
Instead of calling me to tell me of this they just kept charging my account. I was then told it's not PF's responsibility but mine. Where I get angry is when they can make a note on my account but not call to tell me of the issue. They knew of the problem but can't let someone know, just so they can make some extra money.
To top it off the manager was extremely rude and yelling at me.
I have contacted corporate but they can't do anything because it's privately owned. Extremely upset with how thing's were handled.
Monetary Loss: $30.
