So planet fitness cancelatuon policy is worse than going through a divorce. I went in and asked ro cancel and was given *** about still getting charged vecause it was the 11th and i had to cancel before rhe 10th of the month.

I told the guy to cancel and i handed him the card and walked out.

I was charged again the next month and when i went in they refused to cancel because i did bot want to sign my name placing an X on the pad. They are a joke and I would bever go back and i will tell all my frienda about this joke of a place...

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Once more, I'm amazed at how many planet fitness corporate trolls there are on this message board. If you're trying to help the brand, bullying, belittling, and insulting members who have a complaint with your company probably isn't the best approach.

The group of PF employees responding to these complaints are only reinforcing the customer's negative experience. You guys are in desperate need of a PR consultant.

ah, you selectively reply type your standard stup!d retort. what a shallow life toy lead !

you have no clue what responsibility means and probably never will. its always someone else's fault. are you even reading the problem?!?!? Sheesh, whenever someone has something VALID i give them suggestions on what to do next.

BUT i can aee thru the lies of those who complain when they DIDN'T LISTEN! I've been thru those with closed ears many times. it's NEVER them! the best way to help is to slap them right back.

why should i be responsible for them? Get a life, man!

I thought the "lunk alarm" was just a figure of speech until I read more about it and actually saw video of a guy being chewed out, insulted, and told to leave because he made a little noise while lifting. "Judgement free zone" my ***.

Apparently, it's fine to judge & humiliate anyone who makes a little noise while training.

Oh, and they don't allow gallon jugs of water, either. I guess someone sensibly hydrating is "intimidating" to some people. They claim it's for safety reasons.

What BS. In all my years of training, the only water container I ever tripped over was my own.

Currently, their website says their VIP Black card membership has a $19.99 startup fee, but when you actually ho to the signup page, it informs you that your "due today" amount is $38 or $39, and then, there's a $39 annual fee.

I'm old enough to know what the infamous Bait and Switch *** is, and I think this qualifies.

So, I guess, it looks like Gold's Gym, without the BS, crybaby attitude, and higher monthly fees is the way to go. At least, I can take my gallon jug & nobody's going to try to humiliate me for grunting a bit when I'm straining my *** off in a workout.

you're not even worth responding to.

well, that's actually true. you didn't officially cancel because you refused to sign.

your signature is required to agree to the cancellation. So they had no choice, you gave them no choice. you were charged another month because you didn't stick around to complete the cancellation.

what is "the card" anyway?

Finally, the cancel policy is easy, cancel by the 10th and the ends the billing.

your argument is ridiculous!

They are a rip off. I read the contract that i was given today after trying to cancel and there is no mention of having to sign anything to cancel membership.

This company is notorious for ripping people off.

I am writting the BBB and disputing the charges and any other charges with my bank. If they want to play games they need to read ther own sign up contract.

READ, cancellation is in person or by certified mail. in person you sign, by mail, you sign.

what is so hard? is your iq THAT low?!?!?

is 2 in person or by mail, both of which have to do with sigmatures or written request. written is implied.

you just don't walk in and say "i want to cancel then leave" . there is a process. there are questions they ask you. they create a cancellation form THAT YOU SIGN!

what kind of a m0ron are you? OMG!
