Every weekend about 2-3 hours prior to closing I have witnessed while I"m on the cardio machines that the same 2 homeless women come in (not together) carrying all their belongings; the staff seems to know them, they do not present a member card they proceed to sit down at the table for a while to rest and then proceed to the ladies locker room where they shower for no less then 1 & 1/2 hours to 2. They grab all their belongings and leave without every working out or doing anything else.

I have empathy for the homeless however their is only 1 changing room, 2 bathrooms stalls and 2 showers. I do not think it is fair to monopolize them for such a long period of time when you are not a paying member. I also do not like that they are allowed to walk in holding about 5-8 huge bags and walk out. People leave their coats and stuff unlock in the lockers.

I know you use the lockers at your own risk, but why do I have to feel nervous while I"m working out. No one else spends that much time in the locker rooms so I would not have a reason to worry. The staff never goes in to check on them, therefore how do we know they are not stuffing things into their bags.

This has been going on for a very long time and it is always the same 2 women (one is a heavyset I see and its is always a Saturday or Sunday anywhere between 5-7pm. I can take a picture, however I felt it was an invasion on the women and like I said I do feel bad for them, but if Planet Fitness is running a bathhouse then they should stay after they close and the members are gone and let them shower.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Some people who have fallen on bad luck or are mentally ill have found themselves with no family or friends to live with or help them.I am so blessed that I'm not in situation. However it's not fair to paying customers who are there to exercise to be subjected to the unsanitary conditions, and belongings being more prone to theft.

I think it's business suicide for Planet Fitness to be allowing homeless to use these facilities. I go there to work out, not to worry about catching scabies or lice.

I travel and use Planet Fitness from LA to NYC to Pompano, East Greenbush and I notice homeless people in 80% of the clubs I attend. The facilities are filthy, the homeless wear sh__ty dirty shoes into the wet area, they dress just like you see them on the street. The shower floors are gritty with dirt. After their hour shower, they move into a changing room, lock the door and take a nap.

I saw a cockroach in my locker in Pompano, so I no longer use the locker/ showers.

$20 a month is a great value. But the clubs are too dirty.

You are a piece of *** human being if you think the way your stupid review implies. These women are homeless, they can't afford a place to stay and you're actually demanding they be thrown out of the only place that will allow them a decent shower?

Seriously? Are you for real right now?You say you have empathy, but in the same breath say you think it's not fair for them to shower without being checked on and actually imply they steal things from others!

I don't know WHY these women make you nervous, since I'd be more concerned about the other people whom you don't feel nervous around going through your stuff!Buy a *** padlock and shut the *** up. Or better yet, take your *** to another gym, because I'm sure you're just as much a terrible person to those who aren't homeless as you are to those who are!

You sound both braindead and self-righteous at the same time. I'm so tired of your political correct crap. Get a job.
