Planet Fitness - Sleazy financial practices!!
I've been a Planet Fitness customer for years!! Recently they opened a store closer to my home so I switched.
I also have my daughter on my credit card and she remained at the Johnston RI store. I then had an issue with my credit card in which my card was changed. I then told my new local store and they switched it no problem. Unfortunately they will never call you or even send a letter so you know you need to switch!!
My daughter then has not been to the other store since last June and they kept trying to charge a card that was no longer active??? Since then they have racked up a $159 bill stating they kept trying to bill a card thats not there!! Go Figure!!! I have been in business for more than 30 years way more than this company and if I acted like them I would have been done years ago!!
They lost me, my daughter and my family!!
Horrible business practice that you can't send a letter or use a phone to say your card expired!!! Anyone interested in this gym, RUN FAST!!!!!
Reason of review: Problems with payment.

I am in on a class action suit. Called corporate and they told me that its independently owned and operated and that my agreement was binding yet they only made oral representations and hit the buttons for me and never gave me a copy of the contract

Sounds like a class action suit should be initiated. You can't just steal from people. The credit card company should allow you to file a dispute.
They have the worst financial/billing policies and practices I have ever seen, they lost me and family over it too.
If you run a personal business, then you know what it is like to be responsible. Why is it an incumbent upon the company to wipe your *** Nope, that is not a question.
