I am a bartender, I talk to people all day everyday. I will make it my goal to talk as many people out of joining your gym as possible.

It is a shame that you do business this way. A customer should never have to leave and never want to come back. Business really should not be so shady and you should not try and screw over your clientele. People should pay to use your facility, then when they move or no longer need or are able to, just let them pay the fee (that is stupid) and leave.

They should be able to go to any Planet Fitness and do this, not just the original one.

Enjoy the last few dollars you ever get from me. I will enjoy costing you more than you thought possible.

PF locations are franchises. they do not have nationwide database access to everyone of the 8+ million members.

so when you want to cancel you have 2 choices... in person or mail (certified suggestion is for YOUR protection).

If you want to cancel, it's a HUGE window of time!!!! Cancel By the 10th of any month and the billing stops. Canceling via certified mail you KNOW when they received it.

if the mail is accepted on the 10th THEY OWE YOU if they cancel late

IF the letter is accepted on the 11th, YOU OWE the next month! the window is ENORMOUS!

so what's your problem now? Never mind, not a question, just soneone who has responsibility issues.
