I’ve had 16 orthopedic surgeries in the last 2 years. I am in a wheelchair and unable to use most of the PF facilities.

I have a letter explaining from my doctor explaining my situation. The manager of the local franchise refused to allow me to cancel my membership unless I come in personally, and since I am unable to drive my car and we don’t have a wheelchair van that is impossible. So for more than 2 years they continue to charge my bank account.

The only way I can stop it is close that account which I don’t want to do—I’ve had the same account for 25 years. I’ve had enough and am sending a certified letter with documentation to Chris Rondeau.

Send a certified letter to Planet Fitness or have someone deliver it. In person is just one way to cancel.

Make sure to include your address. Birthdate.

Phone number. BTW, many pieces ARE wheelchair accessible.
