Planet Fitness - WORST Customer Service
I joined Planet Fitness at $10 a month, but never used the gym (I moved).
I noticed that rather than $10 per month, my account was charged RANDOM amounts every two to four weeks.
I tried to CANCEL my membership as I don't, nor have I EVER used the gym. I was told I have to cancel in person with a manager, who never seems to be on duty when he/she is supposed to be on duty. When I call to speak to the manager, again, not in, but will call me back....I've been waiting over six months, for several return calls that NEVER came.
In the past two months PLANET FITNESS has charged me almost $200 for a $10 per month membership that I can't cancel!!!!!
I tried to call the number they provide in email but spoke to someone in India who gave me another 800 number that led me to Direct TV. Tried to corporate only to get a "mailbox full - cannot save voicemail" message.
WHAT A RIP OFF!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS "GYM"!!!!
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $324.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
